Usage

Once you have configured your smartcards rascal is easy to use:

• To begin an action hold your card in front of the card reader until it beeps once, flashes the green led and then turns off the led. Now the configured action with parity 1 is executed.

• To finish an action hold your card again in front of the card reader until it beeps twice, flashes the green led twice and then turns off the led. Now the configured action with parity 0 is executed.

• If you did any of this by error you can cancel the action by repeating it within the configured grace period. Cancellation is signalled by flashing the red led instead of the green.
